General Information:
- Train Mountain Memberships are for the calendar year, running from January 1 each year to December 31 of the same year.
- New Members that join after October 1 will be joining for the balance of the current year, and for January1 to December 31 of the following year.
- A Family Membership is limited to a maximum of two adults (persons over the age of 18 years), and all children and grandchildren 17 years of age and under
living in the same household. - Premium memberships: Supporting Member, Participating Member, Yard Boss Member, and Empire Member are all Family Memberships.
- You must be a Train Mountain Member to bring equipment to Train Mountain at any time.
- Guests and/or Visitors are welcome at Train Mountain, and may operate a Member's equipment with the permission of that Member, but Guests and/or Visitors may not bring and operate their own equipment.
- Prior to the present management taking over Train Mountain, the lowest Membership category was $150 for each calendar year. Some new and more affordable Membership categories were created to encourage Members to join and participate every year instead of every third year just to attend the Triennial.
We believe that our present memberships are now very reasonable. Look at what you get for approximately the same cost as going to a movie for a couple hours and purchasing a tub of popcorn:
- Year around access to the 2200 acre Train Mountain Park.
- Year around access to 36 miles of 7.5" gauge track winding through the pristine pine forest and aspen groves.
- Where else in the world can you take your train on a multi-hour tour and not travel the same track twice?
- Keep your eyes open and you may see some of our plentiful wildlife during a train ride, such as Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Red Tail Hawks, Falcons, Owls, numerous migratory birds, Elk, Deer, and much more.

Download the Forms and join Train Mountain the old fashion way by mail. Please fill out the Forms and mail the completed forms with a check or money order to the address on the form. Please DO NOT SEND CASH.
Please do not combine different membership categories on one form. If you are applying for a family membership, the new family membership is for two adults and all children and grandchildren under the age of 18 years. If you have a three or more adults in one family, the additional adults must apply separately for their membership.
Note: all premium memberships, Supporting Member, Participating Member, Yard Boss Member, and Empire Member are all Family Memberships.
